Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy: The DOGE Plan to Reform Education

President Trump has asked the two of us to lead a newly formed Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, to cut the federal government down to size. We are entrepreneurs, not politicians, and we’re doing things differently. Unlike government commissions or advisory committees, we won’t just write reports or cut ribbons. We’ll cut costs.

As part of our vision to curtail excessive federal spending, we have launched an innovative new education platform that will reduce the budget by 60% while ensuring a bright future for most of America’s youth. Taking nods from existing education frameworks the new MAGAssori (MAGA Montessori) Franchises will transform our economy. For years and years to come.

No more useless classroom activities, or standardized testing, or unproductive nap times. Instead, students — or, Pre-Professionals, as we consider them — will focus on real-world learning and development opportunities, beginning at age four.

Ages 4-6, formerly Pre-K: ‘Early Stage’ lessons, which focus on developing basic cognitive and motor skills, like fetching tools, listening to instructions, and moving inventory.

Ages 6-14, formerly Grade School: ‘Middle Stage’ lessons, to teach Pre-Professionals useful skills, like using tools, reading instructions, and tracking inventory.

Ages 14-18, formerly High School: ‘Late Stage’ lessons, for advanced development, like repairing factory machinery, sewing, and managing inventory.

Similar to other leading education programs, each Franchise will have mixed-age groupings, allowing Pre-Professionals at various stages to interact, collaborate, and execute production plans. Research indicates this structure will enhance language development among younger children, and anti-union sentiment among older children.

Additionally, the new plan will end the health crises that jeopardize a majority of young people today. Currently, exercise rates are at an all-time low, and obesity is still on an uncontrollable rise. By replacing the standard classroom setting with open production layout, Pre-Professionals are expected to boost exercise by nearly 300% as they walk the shop floor, clean assembly stations, and push around inventory pallets.

For those good-hearted parents who are worried about losing beneficial extracurriculars, like football, fret not. Pre-Professionals will be able to earn the ability to play after the workday — that is, if the teams have met their production quotas. Unfortunately, there will be no budget for band or choir or soccer, as such activities have been linked with forming entitled, unmotivated liberals.

MAGAssori platforms can transform individuals, communities, and the Nation’s GDP. Our economists predict that, with each replacement of a regular school with a Franchise, spending per child (SSP) will increase from - $11k per year to at least net-zero. On a macro-level, such investment will guarantee this Nation can win back the long-gone textile industry, which has unfortunately been lost to unethical communist practices overseas.

Our good friend Jeff Bezos praised the idea, and noted some high-performing Pre-Professionals would have an opportunity to earn part-time Apprenticeships at nearby Amazon Warehouses, where they can learn industry-leading productivity standards and apply them back at their hometown Franchise.
